Process research and Demonstration project of Heau Waterwater of Shenshui Longgang Waterwater Group

To enhance climate change adaptability, Shenshui Longgang Water Group is developing the first “net” zero-carbon green water plant (40,000 tons/day). Utilizing integrated green technologies like “water-light-storage” and advanced “mineralization + iron-based oxidation” treatment, the plant will become a low-carbon digital smart water park. It will feature green energy infrastructure, digital energy management, and advanced water treatment to achieve carbon replacement, reduction, and sequestration—cutting CO₂ emissions by 660 tons annually. This project exemplifies the group’s commitment to its “Urban Green Element” Action Plan aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050.

Through the use of Langley's CO2 and lime intelligent dosing equipment, the PH of water quality is effectively adjusted to ensure that the 2-MIB level is below 10ng/L and the removal capacity exceeds 150ng/L, which can not only effectively reduce the risk of corrosion and yellow water in the pipe network, but also provide citizens with better quality and healthier drinking water.
